The majority of fire departments in Kentucky are volunteer. Without volunteer firefighters, our fire department would not survive. Being a volunteer firefighter has its challenges. However, being a volunteer firefighter comes with many avenues to give back to the community and help others in their time of need. The Priceville Volunteer Fire Department is family oriented and treats its members as such.

If you are interested in becoming a member, feel free to contact us via email or telephone.

What all is involved in becoming a member?

As a new member of the fire department, obtaining your Kentucky Basic Firefighter 1 certification and your ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, and ICS-800 certificates, learning equipment, and remembering the departmental SOPs/SOGs is of the upmost importance. Below are links to the Kentucky Basic Firefighter 1 certification, ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800, and SOPs/SOGs on becoming a member of the fire department.
